Our Why
OUR AIM
The aim, structure and function of the New South Wales group was outlined to provide guidelines for the development of a similar organisation in Queensland. An interim committee was formed to undertake the initial development of the group and publication of a newsletter. This started as Histotext, and later became the “Tissue Paper.”
OUR OBJECTIVE
The objective of the group is the promotion and advancement of the Art and Science of Histotechnology and related interests.
OUR GOAL
Our goal is to hold regular meetings throughout the year. These may consist of one or more of the following. A presentation of original papers, Lectures and/or demonstrations, laboratory visits, new trade products or displays, problem solving discussion seminars.
