QLD State Histology Conference – Cairns – Update

The Histotechnology Group of Queensland (HGQ) Committee places the highest priority on the health and safety of its members and conference attendees. We have continued to closely monitor the advice from the Australian Chief Medical Officer and Queensland’s Chief Health Officer along with advice from the Federal and State Governments.  Whilst some restrictions are starting to ease, all information points to the social distancing and air travel restrictions likely being in place for some time yet. HGQ are committed to hold the Queensland State Histology Conference in Cairns.  However, due to the above restrictions as well as the current economic climate, the Committee has made the decision to postpone this year’s event until 2022the conference will now be held on Friday 7 to Sunday 9 October 2022 at Pullman Reef Hotel Casino in Cairns. All bookings paid to date will receive a full refund and the team at Absolute Events & Marketing will be in touch in the coming week to discuss these arrangements. We thank those who were keen to support the conference and look forward to your involvement at the Queensland conference in 2022.
